Due to its special spectral range of 3.43 µm, the pyrometer optris CT P3 is perfectly suited for precise temperature measurements of thin plastic films like PE, PP and PS.
It measures temperatures precisely from 50 °C up to 400 °C (122 ... 752 °F) and its measuring head offers a temperature resistance of up to 75°C (167 °F) without additional cooling. Its separate electronics box is acclaimed for its easily accessible programming buttons and its illuminated LCD display.

With a measuring wavelength of 3.43 µm, the infrared thermometer optris CT P3 is ideally suited for temperature control during the production of very thin plastic film. Among those are materials like polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS).
The temperature analysis software optris Compact Connect has been developed specifically for the extensive documentation and analysis of temperature measurement data of our stationary infrared thermometers. It is license-free and included in every pyrometer shipment.
